Weekend Highlights

This weekend we...

1. Went to HeeHaw Farms in Pleasant Grove to get our pumpkins for Halloween. It was definitely more kid/child/baby friendly but we still had a good time. They had some fun activities to do in the courtyard (slide, corn shooter, etc.) and then a hayride to the pumpkin patch. Steve was a little reluctant at first to pay 8 BONES to take a bumpy ride to get a pumpkin but we made the most of it and we were really glad we went. We had a fun time and we got some sweet pumpkins that we are going to carve for FHE.

2. Celebrated Taylor's 25th Birthday at PF Changs.

Birthday Spot Light:

Taylor Franklin Richards

I could go on FOREVER with the many reasons of why I LOVE my brother Taylor. He is by far the nicest person in the family (sorry if I've offended the rest of you). He is so nice to everyone he knows and meets and always has a kind thing to say about everyone. He always has the most upbeat attitude and loves to laugh, joke around, and have fun. He has the greatest sense of humor. This makes everyone love being around him. Taylor can make me laugh harder than anyone I know, and is always someone you can talk to about anything. He loves learning new things and having deep discussions. Along with all those things he is SO talented. He is an amazing dancer, singer, and skier. He loves kids and kids love being around him. Its too bad he isn't taken because he will make an amazing husband/father some day. I love you Taylor! Happy Birthday!

Afterwards we came back to our house for cake and ice cream

We played The Name Game- put a bunch of names in a hat that you have to describe or act out depending on the round. It was so hilarious when it came down to the "describing with only one word" and the "acting out" rounds. We all had some good laughs.

Don't worry the party continued with Nintendo 64 Wheel of Fortune. Our team kicked BUTT.

I crashed at about midnight. Some even stayed (birthday boy included) till 1:30AM playing Bond and then Mario Kart. I will never get over their competitiveness with this game. It was hilarious.

It was a fun night spent in honor of an all around great guy. We love you Taylor. Happy Birthday!

What a great way to celebrate Taylor's birthday! How fun!!! I also love your pics from the pumpkin patch. I think it's great that you and Steve went there together. You two are so cute, so active, and so much fun! I miss you!
